Billionton USB Bluetooth XP SP2

I experienced the same problem with my Billionton Bluetooth. Searched the net for a solution for several days.

Problem:
I just formatted my drive, cleaning everything out, and reinstalled XP home with SP2 which comes with it's own Bluetooth support.I have a billionton USB Bluetooth dongle, and the CD that came with it.The problems the SP2 situation has caused are:

1) When I want to send photos from my 3650 to my PC, the PC won't just accept them even though the devices are paired. I have to right-click on the XP Bluetooth sys-tray icon and select 'receive a file'. A real pain. It will also only accept one file at a time.

2) Once the file is being received, the PC is automatically dumping it in 'My Documents', and I can't find a way to change this default location.

Solution:
1) When I want to send photos from my 3650 to my PC, the PC won't just accept them even though the devices are paired. I have to right-click on the XP Bluetooth sys-tray icon and select 'receive a file'. A real pain. It will also only accept one file at a time.On your Nokia 3650, click and mark the images you want to xfer, then with SEND. On the PC side click on xfer ALL I discovered that by mere luck!

2) Once the file is being received, the PC is automatically dumping it in 'My Documents', and I can't find a way to change this default location.

If you click on the bluetooth icon in the taskbar you will get a menu where you can alter destination of transfered files.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find the "transfer all" options. After doing some more research, you have to install the software that comes with your Billionton Bluetooth to make it function properly.

1. Plug in your bluetooth, windows will install the softwares and drivers for your bluetooth from Microsoft (which is really a nightmare).

2.Go to "device manager" select the bluetooth installed and click "properties".

3. Click "update driver", "have disk", from your Billionton Bluetooth CD, locate btwusb.inf and click Ok.

That's it! Your bluetooth adapter is back to normal! Enjoy!
